Objective

It integrates key industrial areas, ports, and logistics hubs into a single high-capacity rail network that can facilitate both domestic and future cross-border freight movement within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Description

The Etihad Rail project is the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) national railway network designed to transform freight logistics and, in later phases, passenger transport across the country.
