Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway Project

Objective

Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance transport, economic, social and cultural links between the two cities and regions, support future growth and development, and strengthen the competitiveness of Cambodia, as well as facilitate the trade relations between Cambodia and Vietnam.

Description

The four-lane expressway is expected to be laid out through Kandal, Prey Veng, and Svay Rieng provinces and finally to Bavet, the city on the Cambodia-Vietnam border. The total length of the expressway is 135.10 km.
