Bang Yai - Kanchanaburi Intercity Motorway

Objective

In addition to playing a strong national role, this expressway will be part of the LaemChabang- Bangkok-Dawei (Myanmar) highway corridor, linking the port at Laem Chabang with the proposed deepwater port at Dawei, and with Myanmar-s highway network, connecting with Mawlamyine and Yangon.

Description

The M81 Motorway helps cut travel time from Bang Yai district in Nonthaburi province to Kanchanaburi province to only one hour, as well as reduce congestion on Highway No 4 in Nakhon Pathom province.
