Objective
Description
The project is an 878 km, 660 kV, High Voltage Direct Current Line (HVDC) that transmits 4,000MW of electricity (mainly from coal) from the Chinese bank-financed Thar Coal Mine and Power Projects and the Chinese bank-financed Port Qasim Power Project to the northern parts of Pakistan (near Lahore).
