Objective

Description

The Syrdarya II Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 1,600 MW combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant under development in the Bayaut (Boyovut) District of Syrdarya Region, approximately 150 km south of Tashkent. The project is being developed as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) under Uzbekistan's power-sector reform program and will supply electricity to the national grid under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with the National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan.
