Objective
Description
The Tajikistan-Afghanistan-Turkmenistan (TAT) railway is a proposed regional rail link. Partial Construction Has Happened (Turkmenistan → Afghanistan). Although the project was officially launched in 2013 with a Memorandum of Understanding between Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, construction beyond the Turkmen-Afghan border has proceeded slowly or not at all in practice.
