Objective

The objective of the project is to modernise and expand the autonomous port of Cotonou inc through the port’s new infrastructure enabling it to accommodate Post-Panamax container ships.

Description

This project concerns the modernisation and extension of the Port of Cotonou. Port of Cotonou (PAC) 2021-2026 Port Master Plan (PMP) is a 5-year investment program aiming to renovate and replace obsolete port infrastructure, and to expand capacity, while improving service quality to attract additional traffic. The PMP consists of 12 projects the Benin Terminal (BT), the country’s largest container terminal.
